GRITT Athletic Performance Training

GRITT is proud to partner with Black Swamp Sports in offering athletic performance training for young athletes. Part of being a great athlete, is training like one. GRITT Certified Trainers will provide strength training, explosion and agility work, and injury prevention training. We offer 1-on-1, partner, and small group training.

1-on-1 Strength Training

  • 1 hour training session with a Strength Coach
  • Customized weekly workout routine
  • Teaching proper form in exercises
  • Strength Progress recorded and tracked in athletes folder
  • $40 per session
  • Month to month commitment

Partner Training

  • 1 hour partner session (2 athletes) with Strength Coach
  • Athletes will be taken through same workout together
  • Trainer will superset exercises to keep athletes moving
  • Both athletes will have separate folders for tracking progress
  • $35 per athlete
  • Month to month commitment

Group Training (4 athletes)

  • 4 athletes in a 1 hour session trained by a Strength Coach
  • Please try to establish your own groups, inquire if you are unable
  • Trainer will utilize supersets and some circuit work
  • Each athlete will have individual folder for tracking progress
  • $25 per athlete
  • Month to month commitment

Training Information

 

  • We will train your athlete for sport specific purposes, meaning improving their athletic ability to make them jump higher and hit harder.
  • We will have a large focus on Injury Prevention Training. With as active as young athletes are today, it is imperative that they receive proper training to keep their bodies healthy for their peak performance.
  • You will have access to your athletes folder at any time to see the workouts we are doing and the progress they are making. However folders must remain on site as to not be misplaced.
  • Purchased training sessions are paid for a month at a time as a package based on frequency of training.
  • Developing strength and muscle tissue doesn't happen over night. It is a process that when training with the right intensity and direction, is incredibly rewarding in your physical abilities.
  • What is going to separate you from every other athlete? Your competition will be practicing their volleyball skills each week. What will make you different? What will make you stand out above them to earn that starting varsity spot or college scholarship?
